My Lifelong Project
I was born in San Francisco, California and raised in Belize, Central America. I remember growing up in Belize and seeing magazine pages of other parts of the world. The where so mesmerizing and I would dream of being able to explore the world.
I left Belize in the 80s and started my life in America. I did the college thing for a bit and ended up joining the US Army in 2001. I served one tour in Operation: Iraqi Freedom and that was enough for me to leave. I then entered service with the US Coast Guard in 2006. In 2022 I retired from the service with over 20 years of active duty.
During all that time photography was always my focus away from work. It was self taught at first and was always paired with my travels. I enjoy traveling with my wife Morgan to places that I could experience and photograph.
My Lifelong Project is to travel, explore, experience, and capture what I see. As I look at my images, it reminds me of that little boy dreaming in Belize. "We're doing it!"
